A Jordanian parliamentary delegation is expected to arrive in Gaza on Wednesday via Rafah border crossing.

Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) has undertaken all necessary preparations for the Jordanian parliamentary delegation’s visit to the Strip.

Director of the PLC public relations and media department Ayman Abu Leila confirmed in a press release on Tuesday that the delegation, which includes 12 Jordanian MPs, will reach Gaza on Wednesday afternoon.

PLC deputy speaker and members will receive the delegation at Rafah crossing where a press conference is scheduled to be held, he underlined.

The three-day visit includes meetings with Palestinian heads of parliamentary blocs, factions and national forces, Abu Leila continued.

MP Abu Leila called on Arab parliamentarians to accelerate their solidarity visits to the besieged Strip and to witness for themselves the extent of the damage caused by the Israeli recent aggression that lasted for 51 days.
